Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Hematologist to join our team at the University of Utah. As a key member of our Department of Pediatrics, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and advancing the field of pediatric hematology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical patient care services to patients with benign non-malignant blood disorders, focusing on benign hematology, bleeding disorders, and hemophilia, and thrombosis.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including hematology genetic counselors, pediatric hematologists/oncologists, and hematopathologists, to provide comprehensive care.
  • Participate in clinical and translational research projects, and implement clinical trials to advance the understanding and treatment of pediatric blood disorders.
  • Contribute to the education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows, and participate in academic activities, including education, investigation, and administration.
Requirements
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Hematology-Oncology.
  • Focused training in pediatric hematology, hemophilia, and thrombophilia.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
