DSI Systems Inc. is actively seeking a Retail Sales Specialist. In this role, you will represent AT&T in National Retail, providing essential training, coaching, merchandising, and sales support within your designated area. You will serve as the subject matter expert for all field-related inquiries concerning AT&T Wireless and AT&T Internet.

To facilitate the growth of AT&T's business, effective communication that conveys our value is essential. The ideal candidate will quickly adapt to our dynamic environment, mastering AT&T products and our mission. We want you to make an immediate impact, forge strong connections, and drive sales in your territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Regularly visit assigned retail locations within your territory.
  • Train retail associates on AT&T products.
  • Provide guidance on effective sales techniques.
  • Engage in collaborative selling alongside retail partners.
  • Disseminate up-to-date information regarding AT&T promotions and special offers.
  • Deliver marketing materials, dummy devices, and blank contracts as necessary.
  • Assist retail representatives in resolving customer inquiries.
  • Serve as a trainer, coach, and mentor by shadowing retail representatives.
  • Conduct sales events in National Retail venues to showcase products and boost sales.
  • Motivate retailers to achieve company and program objectives.
  • Meet and surpass sales targets established by DSI.
  • Stay informed on all sales processes, products, services, promotions, and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships to build trust with store managers.
  • Gather competitive intelligence and insights from the market.
  • Act as the primary contact for daily communications with AT&T and local retail leadership.
  • Ensure merchandising standards are met and promotional materials are displayed correctly.
  • Coordinate all program logistics with DSI and AT&T.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure project success.
Additional Duties
  • Comply with supplier policies and procedures.
  • Sign in and out at each visit according to retailer standards.
  • Exemplify a positive and respectful demeanor.
  • Consistently arrive at work punctually and prepared.
  • Visit a minimum of five stores daily to coach and mentor retail representatives.
  • Manage expenses effectively to remain within budget.
  • Complete various administrative tasks and other assigned duties promptly.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of one year of experience in the retail sector; wireless experience is highly preferred.
  • Ability to convey and train key brand messaging and product information engagingly.
  • Open to receiving direction and coaching on evolving program specifications.
  • Must be able to travel within a designated area with strong time management skills.
  • Must possess a clean driving record and provide proof of automobile insurance.
