Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Welder to join our team at Forum Energy Technologies. As an Assembly Welder, you will be responsible for developing and interpreting blueprints, preparing and assembling oilfield products, and performing welding applications within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble multiple components into completed skidded packages
  • Select fabrication equipment and plan layout, assembly, and welding procedures
  • Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure in position for welding
  • Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts
  • Set-up and run RT & UT Quality Vessel Weld Processes
  • Set-up and run RT Quality Pipe Weld - All Positions
  • Set-up and run UT Quality Nozzle Welds - All positions
  • Clean and stamp all welds
  • Set-up and run all structural non-code welds
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent diploma
  • Successful completion of welding tests and qualifications
  • 6+ months of welding experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of how to interpret and use blueprints, welding specifications, and welding procedures
  • Ability to use and read welding measuring devices
  • Knowledge of welding processes
