Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Assembly Welder to join our team at Forum Energy Technologies. As a key member of our fabrication and welding team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing welding procedures, assembling and repairing oilfield products, and ensuring high-quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement welding procedures to ensure high-quality standards are met
  • Assemble and repair oilfield products, including skidded packages and piping systems
  • Operate various welding equipment, including GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW
  • Conduct visual and in-process inspections to ensure compliance with API and ISO quality specifications
  • Collaborate with team members to diagnose and troubleshoot welding problems and implement solutions
  • Support the team in achieving its objectives and contributing to the company's success
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 6+ months of welding experience, preferably in the oilfield industry
  • Strong understanding of welding specifications, procedures, and quality standards
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding procedures
  • Knowledge of welding processes, including GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
