Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise Structures Department personnel
* Act as Team Leader for select bridge inspections
* Oversee development and updates to the Department's Quality Plan
* Assign personnel to projects and project teams
* Review design calculations, drawings, and reports
* Assist with or review the development of technical proposals
* Review resource estimates for proposals and supplements
* Resolve design issues
* Ensure that design procedures are followed
* Lead Structures staff training and mentoring initiatives

Requirements:

* BS degree in civil engineering
* PE required
* CBSI required
* Active in current bridge inspection contracts preferred
* Previous bridge inspection management experience is a plus
* Six (6) years of experience minimum, eight (8) to twelve (12) years of experience preferred
* Fluent with PennDOT LRFD design programs and LFD/ASD analysis programs

Working Relationships:

* Reports to Newtown Square Office Manager
* Coordinates with Department Managers, Vice Presidents, Project Managers, and Technology Managers
* Coordinates work assignments with branch offices
* Supervises Structures Department staff
