Job Title: LPN Medication Nurse

Job Summary:

The LPN Medication Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality care and services to residents by administering medication and treatments in a safe and organized manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer medication and treatments to residents in a safe and organized manner.
  • Review and document medication administration records.
  • Collaborate with the Resident Care Director and Wellness Nurse to ensure accurate medication administration.
  • Ensure that medications are passed according to times and documented accordingly.
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident information, including medication records.
  • Report any resident concerns or issues related to medication administration to the Resident Care Director or Wellness Nurse.

Requirements:

  • LPN or LVN license in good standing.
  • Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
  • Ability to make choices and decisions in the best interest of residents.
  • Ability to react and remain calm in difficult situations.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks.
