**Overview:**
The Senior Account Director is a key member of our sales team and is responsible for generating revenue across digital, social, print, and platforms by identifying prospects, developing strategic plans, preparing presentations, negotiating program packages and schedules, and communicating results or problems to management.
We are looking for a highly motivated sales leader with experience in the automotive industry who knows how to sell brands and pitch our wide array of products - from social to programmatic to branded to experiential to print. This Senior Account Director will own all levels of accounts, from clients to agencies, bringing strategic solutions across our portfolio of products, brands, and services.
This person is highly driven to reach and exceed sales results and has a proven track record.
Primary Responsibilities:- **Revenue Generation:**
Responsible for driving revenue by selling integrated packages across platforms including video, social, print, digital, mobile, tablet, and event-based programs.
**Relationship Building:**Cultivate, develop, and maintain relationships with key advertising decision makers at both the agency and client level.
**Value Proposition Delivery:**Utilize marketing and sales collateral, visual presentations, research reports, and sales support data to help effectively deliver Conde Nast's value proposition to clients.
**Creative Solutions:**Work with the Marketing Services team to create and deliver creative solutions for clients in order to maximize sales efforts.
**Digital Media Planning:**Work with the planning teams to develop strategic digital media plans across all channels and platforms.
**Sales Communication and Negotiation:**Manage all aspects of the sales communication and negotiation process and keep senior management abreast of status by providing accurate and timely business estimates, forecasts, and administrative paperwork.
**Reporting and Analysis:**Submit weekly meeting summaries; generate competitive analysis and share-of-market reports, etc.
**Business Planning:**Create annual and quarterly business plans to drive revenue growth and strategy across portfolio of accounts.
**Stakeholder Management:**Keep key internal stakeholders informed (i.e. split partners, finance, marketing, etc.) regarding account status, proposals, personnel changes, etc.
Requirements:- **Sales Experience:**
5+ years of sales experience with integrated platforms.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:- **Auto Category Experience:**
Auto category experience.
**Digital and Social Landscape Knowledge:**Strong knowledge of the social and digital landscape.
**Negotiation Skills:**Expert negotiation skills with experience in high-level sales deals.
**Strategic Selling:**Strategic, consultative selling experience with proven ability to navigate large and complex deals.
**Presentation Skills:**Proven experience in creating compelling and persuasive presentations.
**Organizational and Project Management Skills:**Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively while also ensuring accuracy of work through attention to detail.
**Branded Property Experience:**Experience working for a highly branded property a plus.
**Communication Skills:**Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the aptitude to communicate effectively in both individual and group settings.
**Results-Driven:**Must be results-driven, and take appropriate steps to achieve goals while taking ownership of situations as needed.
**Timely and Accurate Work Product:**Proven ability to deliver timely, accurate work product and demonstrate good follow-up and follow-through.

**Compensation:**
The expected base salary range for this position is from $153,000-$206,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to relevant skills, training, experience, and education.
In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates may also be eligible to receive discretionary bonus compensation.
