About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Psychiatric Nurse to join our team at Northwell Health. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of individualized treatment plans.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Write orders for medications, laboratory work, and diagnostic tests as needed
  • Interpret laboratory and test results to inform treatment decisions
  • Collaborate with attending physicians, residents, nursing staff, and other care providers to ensure optimal quality of patient care
Requirements
  • Masters degree in a Nurse Practitioner program and National Board Certification in specialty area required
  • Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in New York State and current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State required
  • Collaborative practice agreement with designated protocols filed with NYS Department of Education or collaborative relationship attestation as per the Nurse Practitioner Modernization Act 2015 required
  • Current BLS certification required
Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $63.04-$87.40/hour. Northwell Health offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as a retirement savings plan and paid time off.
