">Job Summary
">We're seeking a skilled Mental Health Technician to join our team. As an MHT, you'll play a vital role in providing direct care to psychiatric patients, working closely with Registered Nurses to ensure the highest standard of care.
">Key Responsibilities
">Your primary responsibilities will include:

- Coordinating group activities and implementing the unit program">
- Delivering essential patient care services, including daily living and personal hygiene assistance">
- Developing a compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care">
- Providing therapeutic interventions in crisis situations">
- Monitoring patient mental status and reporting any significant changes to primary nurses">
Requirements
">To succeed in this role, you'll need:
">- ">
- 2 years' experience in an acute care Psychiatric setting preferred">
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills">
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment">
Certifications/Licenses
">You'll require:
">- ">
- EKG and Phlebotomy experience preferred">
- Current BLS certification required, CPI or PMCS preferred">
Education
">A high school diploma is required; a Bachelor's degree or 60 credits towards BS in a related field is preferred.
