About this Role

This position is crucial to the Corporate Accounting Department, supporting various accounting aspects and daily operations. Key tasks include monthly closings, Accounts Payable and Receivable processing, and maintaining balance sheet schedules.

Responsibilities:
  • Reconcile ledger accounts and report discrepancies.
  • Initiate and approve wires, ACH, and book transfers (excluding reconciliations).
  • Reconcile Corporate Bank Statements (excluding cash receipts and disbursements).
  • Receive, record, and bank cash and checks (excluding reconciliations).
  • Code documents according to company procedures.
  • Monitor daily bank activities.
  • Prepare monthly and yearly adjusting journal entries.
  • Assist in audit schedules and financial reporting.
  • Process invoices and intercompany billings.
  • Invest 401k contributions.
  • Support month-end and year-end reporting.
  • Maintain and update financial schedules.
  • Conduct research for management inquiries.
Requirements

This role requires 2-4 years of bookkeeping and accounting experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and an associate degree in Accounting preferred. Proficiency in MS Excel, knowledge of AS400, Realpage, and QuickBooks are pluses. Strong problem-solving skills, analytical skills, and ability to apply general accounting functions are essential.
