Holtec International is seeking a highly skilled Senior X-Ray Operations Specialist to join our team.

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description

This is a senior-level role that involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of our NDT department and supervising NDT inspectors. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in real-time x-ray service and support, with a strong background in radiographic interpretations and equipment maintenance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing real-time x-ray service and support to assigned projects and programs, ensuring that products meet customer quality requirements. They will also train, qualify, and certify NDT RT inspection personnel, write NDT procedures, develop NDT X-ray inspection techniques, and support manufacturing operation level procedures and inspection techniques.

In addition, they will participate in supplier audits, ensure compliance with customer and certification agency regulations, provide NDT RT certification and data for completed X-ray inspections, and maintain safe work environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • a High School Diploma or equivalent;
  • a minimum of 5 years of work experience as an NDT RT Level II in aerospace inspections;
  • Certified ASNT NDT Level III; and
  • familiarity with quality system requirements (ASME Section III, ANSI, NQA-1, AS9100, ISO9001, etc.).

You will also need to be able to read, interpret, and apply engineering drawings and specifications, possess competent computer skills, including MS Office, specifically Word and Excel, and be able to read, write, and understand English.
