Position Overview:

The Guest Services Coordinator plays a pivotal role in shaping the first impression of our hotel. This position involves delivering a range of guest services in the lobby or reception areas, offering a dynamic work environment with flexible hours and opportunities to engage with diverse guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage guest check-ins and check-outs, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately.
  • Coordinate room assignments and manage pre-arrival arrangements.
  • Address and resolve guest inquiries and concerns effectively.
  • Provide information and referrals for various services.
  • Assist with luggage handling and storage.
  • Support group and tour check-in and check-out processes.
  • Collaborate with other departments as needed.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Essential Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor are essential. Previous customer service experience is preferred.

Skills: Ability to manage conflicts and make sound decisions. Proficiency in various computer applications is required.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

This role requires occasional sitting, talking, and hearing, as well as frequent standing and walking. Candidates must be able to navigate the hotel efficiently, including using stairs, and may need to lift or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment:

The position is situated in a hotel setting, where the noise level is typically moderate. Standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers will be used regularly. The ability to thrive in both mentally and physically demanding situations is crucial in this fast-paced environment.

Work Authorization:
