As a Point of Sale Associate at Wingstop, the individual will be responsible for managing customer transactions and coordinating with kitchen personnel.
They must demonstrate efficiency and clarity in communication with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment for guests.

The role involves balancing cash registers, addressing customer inquiries, and managing food replacements when necessary.
The ideal candidate should be a cooperative team player, as this position demands agility and stamina in a bustling environment, fostering positive relationships with both colleagues and patrons.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and greet customers as they enter or contact the restaurant.
  • Process orders from customers both in-person and via phone; promote menu items and stay informed about new offerings and special promotions.
  • Handle cash, credit, and gift card transactions accurately; confirm age for alcohol sales.
  • Respond to customer questions and provide menu suggestions.
  • Ensure all orders are prepared and delivered within company time standards.
  • Check that all food items are visually appealing and verify orders before handing them to customers.
  • Reconcile the cash register at the end of each shift and prepare for the next shift.
  • Assist in keeping the work area clean and well-stocked.
  • Adhere to safety and sanitation protocols to promote a safe working environment.
  • Maintain a professional appearance in line with company uniform standards.
  • Address customer complaints and escalate to management when necessary.
  • Leave customers with a memorable and positive impression of their experience at Wingstop.

  • Proficient in using computerized point-of-sale systems.
  • Strong cash handling abilities.
  • Exhibit professionalism, courtesy, and dependability, especially under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate integrity, honesty, and accountability in all actions.
Additional Notes:
  • Prior experience in cashiering or the restaurant industry is advantageous.
  • Food Handler Certification is required.
