About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our culinary team at Soho House & Co. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to a high standard, including menu items and specials.
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure seamless service and high-quality food.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients.
- Participate in pre-service meetings to discuss menu items, specials, and kitchen procedures.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and presentation.
- Adhere to kitchen guidelines and procedures, including food handling and storage.
- Attend training sessions and workshops to develop culinary skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1+ years' experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Food handler's certificate and knowledge of food safety procedures.
