Physical Therapist Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Specialist to join our team at ECHN. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide specialized physical therapy treatment to inpatient clients, assessing and implementing appropriate interventions to enhance function and mobility.
Responsibilities- Evaluate patients based on departmental standards and modify evaluations to establish individualized treatment goals.
- Administer therapeutic exercises, physical agents, and manual techniques to improve motor activity and learning.
- Educate patients and families in home exercise programs and document treatment and adherence to department policies.
- Communicate with referring physicians and supervise affiliated students, maintaining professional ethics and ensuring proper body mechanics.
- Participate in continuing education and departmental in-services to stay up-to-date on best practices.
- Graduate of an accredited program of Physical Therapy with a minimum of a B.S.
- Current certification in Physical Therapy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Windows-based programs and basic keyboarding.
- Access to reliable transportation for cross-site coverage.
