Physical Therapist Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist Specialist to join our team at ECHN. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the development of our patients' treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients based on departmental standards and conduct thorough assessments to establish individualized treatment plans.
- Develop and implement effective treatment programs to improve or restore patients' function and mobility.
- Administer physical agents and manual therapeutic techniques to relieve pain and promote healing.
- Educate patients and their families on proper exercise techniques and functional activities to enhance independent living.
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
- Participate in interdisciplinary approaches to patient care and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a minimum of a B.S. degree.
- Current licensure in Physical Therapy in the state of Connecticut.
- Advanced specialty practice in the evaluation and treatment of pelvic floor diagnoses for women and men.
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Personal computer skills and proficiency in Windows-based programs.
