Physical Therapist Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at ECHN. As a Physical Therapist Specialist, you will be responsible for evaluating patients and developing individualized treatment plans to improve or restore function.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients based on departmental standards and conduct modified evaluations as needed.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to achieve measurable goals for each patient.
- Administer physical agents and manual therapeutic techniques to relieve pain and attain established goals.
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and functional activities to maximize independent functional activity.
- Document patient care in accordance with insurance guidelines and department policies.
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and referring physicians to ensure seamless patient care.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a minimum of a B.S.
- Current Connecticut license in Physical Therapy.
- Advanced specialty practice in the evaluation and treatment of pelvic floor diagnoses for women and men.
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Personal computer skills and proficiency in Windows-based programs.
- Access to reliable transportation for travel between multiple work sites.
