Speech Therapist for School-Based Caseload

Job Description:
School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist needed for PreK-5th grade caseload with some students requiring Autism support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve individualized goals through speech therapy sessions, integrating language development into daily activities.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with teachers and school staff to create seamless transitions between classroom and therapy settings.
- Develop and implement engaging, research-backed strategies to promote effective communication among students, parents, and educators.
- Evaluate and provide recommendations for enhancing student literacy skills in reading comprehension and writing.
- Work effectively within multidisciplinary teams to integrate speech-language objectives into educational plans.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Active Florida SLP licensure and certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in school-based speech therapy with experience working with diverse age groups and needs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling successful collaboration with colleagues, parents, and guardians.
- Possess strong problem-solving abilities, ensuring that all students receive tailored support.
