As a Field Service Technician II, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support to our valued customers. Your Impact:- Diagnose and repair designated equipment to Canon standards and specifications.
- Service and repair equipment to meet customer demands, providing efficient, responsive, and accurate maintenance.
- Maintain working knowledge and aptitude of multiple product groups, including basic aspects of troubleshooting and diagnostics.
- Meet and exceed customer expectations by providing exceptional technical support and service.
- Properly maintain all technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property assigned.
- Provide direction to less experienced technicians and assist with escalated technical and/or customer service-related problem areas.
We are seeking a dedicated individual with:
- A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience, plus 1 to 2 years of related experience.
- A basic understanding of internet environments and the ability to complete the 120-day introductory period and the PDIF (Printing and Digital Imaging Foundations) new-hire class.
- The ability to travel, with a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Required to take all necessary steps to obtain security and/or other clearances required by customers to enter the customers' premises.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50 percent of the time (walking, standing, stooping/kneeling).
