We are seeking an experienced Surgical Operations Coordinator to join our team at the Skin and Cancer Institute.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care Coordination
  • Coordinate patient appointments, surgeries, and treatments according to physician schedules and company protocols.
  • Ensure timely notification of service delays and maintain accurate patient records.
Scheduling and Administrative Tasks
  • Schedule appointments, surgeries, and procedures using established systems and protocols.
  • Verify patient information, pre-certifications, and authorizations to ensure accurate billing and insurance processing.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
Quality Control and Improvement
  • Monitor and maintain quality control standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a surgical or medical setting.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs) and computer-based systems.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000-$85,000, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
