Job Summary

Carmel Road Animal Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Lead Veterinarian to join our team. As a key member of our hospital, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, developing rapport with clients, and leading our team of veterinarians and support staff.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care, including physical examinations, surgeries, and dentistry
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing education and support on preventative health care and treatment options
  • Lead and mentor our team of veterinarians and support staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical information and advancements in veterinary medicine
  • Assist in the development and implementation of hospital policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of employment
  • 3+ years of leadership and management experience, preferably in a veterinary setting
  • 3+ years of experience as a veterinarian, with a strong focus on patient care and client relationships
  • Professional comportment and appearance, with excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, friendly attitude
