Job Title: DSCS Payload Controller

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled DSCS Payload Controller to join our team at NexOne, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating the Replacement Satellite Configuration Control Element and providing critical support to our operations team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and control DSCS payload operations, including telemetry monitoring and spacecraft commanding.
  • Provide regular reports to the Crew Chief on all aspects of DSCS payload operations.
  • Interface with users and agencies affected by DSCS operations, including the 4th Space Operations Squadron.
  • Provide engineering services for transmissions management and control for all commercial frequency spectrums.
  • Be on-site during scheduled shifts, independent of weather conditions and base closures.
  • Provide 24/7/365 support at MOC, following a 12-hour shift schedule.
  • Be available for on-call duties, with a response time of 15 minutes and on-site presence within 2 hours if directed by Government civilian or military leads.
Requirements:
  • 4 years of SATCOM experience, including general knowledge of the DSCS Satellites.
  • Active DoD TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Ability to meet weapon system certification and recertification requirements.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with Satellite Payload Control and/or DSCS Satellite operations.
