Position Overview:
We are looking for a proactive Versatile Maintenance Technician to become part of our team. This role entails fulfilling all job responsibilities and meeting qualifications as outlined by management.

The technician will operate under the general guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor while independently executing installation, monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and/or design modifications of production, facilities, and utilities equipment. This includes basic shop safety, plumbing, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, machining (as required), fabrication, electrical tasks (excluding wiring and unwiring of devices), millwright duties, and welding.

- Competitive starting hourly wage of $32.60, with a $1 increase following the probation period, based on expertise and demonstrated skills.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in essential equipment/system training to become a subject matter expert at the site, including training peers on new technologies.
- Assist in the development, implementation, repair, and maintenance of site-wide equipment to achieve 'World Class' performance.
- Conduct system start-ups and operational checkouts on equipment, including operational and performance qualifications.
- Engage in the development of project scopes, system designs, and functional specifications.

Utilize technical resources such as equipment manuals, safety materials, system drawings, and schematics to troubleshoot and maintain systems.


QUALIFICATIONS:
- The role requires substantial computer and technical knowledge for success, including performing transactions and recording information electronically. A High School Diploma or GED is required, along with additional training.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial high-speed manufacturing maintenance, preferably in the food sector.
- Familiarity with SAP or equivalent CMMS systems is preferred.

SKILLS:
- Ability to obtain necessary certifications/licenses.
- Proficient in pneumatic and hydraulic systems, plumbing, utilities, welding, millwright tasks, fabrication, machining, and power transmission systems.

Knowledge of servo control systems, robotic systems, electrical and electronic circuits (below 480V), controls, components, and instrumentation including temperature, pressure, flow, and mass density.
