Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Tribal Community Services to join our team at Copper River Native Association. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all grants, contracts, staff, programs, and services within the TCS department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide overall administration of all TCS department grants, contracts, staff, programs, and services.
  • Supervise and oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned staff, ensuring they receive proper training and support.
  • Assess staff training needs and develop plans to ensure all staff members are equipped to provide effective services to clients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring compliance with program and statutory guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain internal and external partnerships to achieve program goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure clients receive comprehensive services.
  • Develop and manage the TCS department budget, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Oversee the reporting requirements for grants, contracts, and agreements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maximize third-party billing to increase program revenue.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in social work, public administration, or related field.
  • Seven (7) years of program management experience.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks concurrently.
  • Excellent written, analytical, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and work independently as well as with teams.
Working Conditions

The work is generally sedentary, requiring routine walking, standing, bending, and carrying of items weighing less than 25 lbs. The majority of work is performed in an office setting with a wide variety of people with differing functions, personalities, and abilities.
