Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, including surgeries, exams, and diagnostic tests.
  • Provide top-notch patient care, including administering medications, taking vital signs, and monitoring patient conditions.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, including patient histories, test results, and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with our veterinary team to ensure seamless communication and efficient patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest veterinary techniques and technologies.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in veterinary technology or a related field preferred.
  • At least two years of experience as a veterinary technician or in a related field.
  • Certification as a veterinary technician (CVT), licensed veterinary technician (LVT), or registered veterinary technician (RVT) preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with veterinarians, clients, and other team members.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods, with frequent bending, stooping, and reaching.
