Traveling Interventional Radiology Specialist

Cross Country Allied is seeking a traveling Interventional Radiology Technologist for an exciting opportunity.
Position OverviewThe role involves assisting physicians during catheterization of the heart and various minimally invasive procedures within a healthcare setting. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing equipment, supporting surgeons, monitoring patient vitals, and ensuring sterile conditions are maintained.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in procedures such as angioplasty, ablation, embolization, stenting, thrombolysis, and biopsies.
- Prepare and maintain necessary equipment for interventional procedures.
- Monitor and record patient vitals during procedures.
- Ensure compliance with sterile protocols and safety standards.
- At least 1 year of recent experience in acute care within interventional radiology.
- ARRT Certification is required.
- BLS Certification (AHA) is mandatory.
- Possession of a current state license.
