Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Services Technician to join our team at Trinity Health. As an Environmental Services Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and disinfect patient care areas and public areas of the hospital, adhering to established cleanliness standards.
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including emptying trash, restocking supplies, and maintaining equipment.
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, such as floor buffers and vacuum cleaners.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives to improve the cleanliness and efficiency of the hospital.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English language.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software.
  • Valid Iowa driver's license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) required if driving.
