Job Summary

Advance Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for developing and executing a flaking mill roll grinding field service in North America.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a scalable implementation plan for the flaking mill grinding field service.
  • Develop and update safety protocols, standard operating procedures, and internal training instructions.
  • Travel to customer facilities to physically grind flaking rolls in a two-person crew and conduct equipment diagnostic audits.
  • Improve customer operations, standardize processes, increase efficiency, and grow aftermarket sales.
  • Assist with training internal service employees in flaking mill grinding practices and procedures.
  • Update flaking mill equipment diagnostics and audit checklists.
  • Responsible for personnel management to maintain a strong team and culture.
  • Assist the Americas Aftermarket Sales Director or Field Service team with field service projects, sales opportunities, travel, strategy, and programs.
  • Understand equipment to troubleshoot customer solutions.
  • Build relationships with customers and sales representatives.
  • Create and achieve aftermarket budget, forecast, and goals for increasing revenue and market share.
  • Prepare field reports after customer visits and distribute to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain accurate records of target accounts, opportunities, quotes, projects, contacts, and correspondence in company databases.
  • Resolve customer issues or difficulties in a manner consistent with the company mission, values, and financial objectives.
  • Assist with the development of customer equipment and service agreements and ensure compliance with all such agreements.
  • Identify and understand technical requirements of customers and connect these with products and solutions.
  • Report to management and colleagues regarding market developments and new possible opportunities in the industry.
  • Maintain up-to-date information on our services and products, industry, competition, and market conditions to present to clients and ensure customer needs are met.
