Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner Job Description

Overview:

Epic Care is a dynamic, multi-specialty organization with over 40 physicians located throughout the East Bay Area. Our mission is to deliver high-quality, personalized, value-driven care for our patients and their families.

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team of Endocrinologists. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical base in general medicine, be energetic, adaptable, and a team player.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide follow-up care to patients with diabetes and endocrine disorders, focusing on medication management for glucose, blood pressure, and cholesterol control.
  • Develop expertise in managing patients with diabetes and other endocrine disorders.
  • Manage a caseload of patients in partnership with the healthcare team to optimize health status and coordinate care over time and across healthcare settings.

Qualifications:

  • Masters of Science Degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Specialty certification required.
  • Baccalaureate in Nursing.
  • Current CA licensure.
