The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a key member of the healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a Family Practice setting. This role requires a strong foundation in nursing principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including history taking and physical examinations, to identify health needs and develop effective care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and achieve quality indicators.
- Develop and implement patient education plans to promote health literacy and self-management.
- Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes and quality of care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines and best practices in Family Practice.
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in California.
- National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) from a recognized organization.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a Family Practice setting.
- One year of experience within the past three years as a NP providing care for orthopedic conditions.
