Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team at Clark Construction Group. As a key member of our plumbing team, you will be responsible for installing, modifying, and repairing plumbing systems, equipment, and fixtures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and lay out work to ensure efficient installation and repair of plumbing systems.
  • Supervise and inspect the installation and repair of plumbing pipes, sinks, traps, valves, faucets, vents, pumps, and similar equipment and fixtures.
  • Estimate job labor and materials costs, maintain job and cost records, and requisition materials, supplies, and equipment.
  • Conduct regular inspections of work in progress and on completion, and participate in complex plumbing tasks.
  • Recruit and train skilled and trades helper personnel, and establish safety and work performance standards for subordinates.
  • Perform related work as required, including selecting pipe and materials, cutting pipe, threading pipe, assembling and installing pipes and fittings, and testing piping systems for leaks.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a standard high school or vocational school and 5 years of related experience and considerable experience as a journeyman plumber or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of the practices, methods, materials, tools, and equipment of the plumbing trade.
  • Ability to supervise the work of skilled and semi-skilled subordinates, analyze defects in plumbing equipment, and determine necessary repairs.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, lay out work from prints, and make estimates of labor and materials needed for plumbing jobs.
