Job Duties:
- Supervise residential remodels from foundation work to final inspections.
- Manage kitchen and bathroom remodeling projects, overseeing inspections, subcontractors, and support staff to ensure smooth progress, client satisfaction, and adherence to budget constraints.
- Install materials according to contract specifications and plans across all construction phases.
- Meet project deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Read and interpret plans/blueprints accurately to bring them to fruition.
- Perform various carpentry tasks including demolition, framing, drywall installation, trim work, cabinetry installation, tile work, and accessories.
- Handle floor assemblies including underlayment, uncoupling/crack isolation membrane, and heated floor systems.
- Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, and material orders for efficient project management.
- Adhere to company construction standards and local building codes.
- Establish trust with clients through clear communication throughout the remodeling process.
- Enforce onsite COVID-19 protocols and site protections such as mask-wearing and handwashing.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site, ensuring it is left "broom clean" daily.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to crews and apprentice carpenters.
Required Skills:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Familiarity with city and county building code regulations.
- Proficient in installation of both framed and frameless cabinetry.
- Expertise in tiling designs and installation methods.
- Proficiency in painting techniques.
- Experience in floor assemblies, including underlayment, uncoupling/crack isolation membrane, and heated floor systems.
- Skilled in preparing surfaces for tiling and installing waterproofing materials.
- Ability to cut and align tiles accurately to achieve even and precise patterns.
- Proficient in grouting and sealing floors.
- Specialization in decorative and elaborate tile projects for floors, walls, showers, tub surrounds, backsplashes, and accent pieces.
- Strong carpentry, project management, and multitasking abilities.
- Capability to lead and mentor apprentice carpenters.
- Competence in overseeing, managing, and scheduling subcontractors and suppliers.
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated with a consistent track record of meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Capacity to manage projects in addition to performing carpentry tasks.
- Physical stamina for tasks involving climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
- Ability to lift 80 pounds or more.
- Possession of reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Provision of personal tools and equipment.
- Proficiency in English is crucial for maintaining a secure construction working environment and facilitating effective client communication.

Desirable Skills:
- Have, or previously held, a general contractors license.
- Lead Safe Certification or other industry related certifications are a plus.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
