Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Room Registered Nurse RN PRN to join our team at Henrico Doctors' Hospital Hanover. As a key member of our healthcare family, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in the emergency department, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Administer medications, perform procedures, and monitor patient conditions as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • One year of experience in emergency services required.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia or has a Compact license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, ACLS, PALS, and CPI required within six (6) months of hire.
