Job Title: Patient Coordinator

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients with a warm and friendly demeanor upon arrival and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit.
  • Clearly and effectively explain treatment options, associated costs, and timelines to patients.
  • Facilitate financial discussions, payment plans, and assist patients with billing and payment inquiries.
  • Manage patient appointments and maintain the office schedule to ensure smooth operations.
  • Answer phone calls and emails promptly and professionally, providing information and scheduling appointments.
  • Verify insurance coverage and ensure all patient information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in dental management software.
  • Collaborate with the dental team and ensure seamless communication between patients, staff, and orthodontists.
  • Ensure the front office and work areas remain clean, organized, and efficient.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a customer service, receptionist, or treatment coordinator role in a dental or orthodontic office preferred.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with strong abilities in negotiation and influencing.
  • Comfortable and effective when speaking with patients regarding treatment options and financial details.
  • Proficient in dental management software and basic computer skills.
  • Highly enthusiastic, supportive team player with a friendly and positive attitude.
  • Strong ability to learn new skills, adaptable, and open to feedback.
  • Exceptional multitasking abilities and proficient time management.
  • Compassionate, caring, and committed to providing exceptional patient care.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • A cheerful attitude and a genuine smile are essential.
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000, depending on experience. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
