  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections to ensure the hotel's cleanliness and maintenance standards are being met, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Staff Development: Provide ongoing training and coaching to housekeeping staff, helping them to develop their skills and advance in their careers.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Certifications: Ability to provide and maintain a valid driver's license, as the position may require the operation of motorized and electric vehicles.
Working Conditions

The Housekeeping Department Manager will work primarily in an indoor environment, with occasional exposure to outdoor conditions. The position requires the ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to four hours in length, as well as the ability to lift up to 45 pounds and push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 pounds.
