Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mail Machine Operator to join our team at Nielsen. As a Mail Machine Operator, you will be responsible for accurately preparing and processing high-volume mailings, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with postal regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mail Preparation: Prepare and process mailings, including labeling, printing, inserting, and mailing daily production jobs.
  • Equipment Operation: Set up and operate ink-jet systems, inserting machines, box formers, closers, shrink-wrap machines, and printers.
  • Quality Control: Ensure accurate and timely mailings, making adjustments as needed for various size and thickness of materials.
  • Support Services: Assist in preparing and completing mailings for other departments as requested.
  • System Maintenance: Maintain all systems, making minor repairs and mechanical adjustments as needed.
  • Logistics: Drive company vehicle to mailing facility daily.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: 1-2 years in a direct mail environment.
  • Skills: Basic knowledge of ink-jet and inserting equipment, MS Windows, and postal regulations.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 60+ pounds, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and turn.
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, day shift 8:00am-4:30pm, with overtime and weekend work as needed.
