Job Title: Store Clerk & Warehouse Worker

Job Summary:

The Store Clerk & Warehouse Worker is a vital member of our team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Assist customers in donating, selecting, and purchasing store items; operate and maintain a cash register; respond to customer inquiries; and maintain a positive and welcoming store atmosphere.
  • Warehouse Operations: Assist in loading, unloading, and sorting donations; move donations and other materials into the warehouse; and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse area.
  • Inventory Management: Inspect donated items to ensure they meet established policies and procedures; prepare donation receipts for customers; and maintain accurate records of inventory and donations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve store and warehouse goals; communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless operations.
  • Physical Demands: Lift, carry, and/or push/pull heavy materials, supplies, and equipment frequently; work in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes in weather and temperature.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; experience working in a retail store or warehouse environment preferred.
  • Experience: Two years of experience in sorting, receiving, storing, loading, and unloading of materials in a warehouse or store setting; or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Certifications/Licenses: None required.
