As a Retail Store Associate and Stocker, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and maintaining a well-organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide top-notch customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate point-of-sale systems efficiently and accurately, ensuring seamless transactions and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Drive customer loyalty program participation, including sign-ups and rewards processing at checkout.
  • Participate in freight flow processes, including truck unloading, stocking, merchandise presentation, and recovery.
  • Contribute to furniture department operations, including carry-outs and display assembly as needed.
  • Maintain the store's interior and exterior appearance to company standards, including light maintenance duties and cleaning.
  • Perform daily front-end maintenance, including check stand cleanliness, replenishment of merchandise and supplies, and floor safety.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by Store Leadership, such as cart retrieval, shrink control, and safety-related tasks.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills required.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Prior retail experience preferred.
  • Previous experience operating a cash register preferred.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds required.
  • Ability to unload freight, move product on and off store shelves, walk, stand, bend, stoop, or kneel for long periods, and move freely throughout the store on a continual basis required.
  • Basic English literacy and math skills required.
