Job Summary:

Tampa General Hospital is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) scanners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Under the direction of the department Director, perform diagnostic imaging procedures to ensure proper radiologic diagnosis of patients.
  • Follow all ACR guidelines and maintain proper radiation dosing to all patients.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of CT scanner technology and imaging protocols.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in CT imaging and technology.

Qualifications:

  • ARRT certification in CT
  • BLS certification
  • Registered in CT within 6 months of employment
  • Licensed in the State of Florida
  • Typically requires a high school diploma, completion of radiologic technology training, and A.R.R.T. registration
  • 3-5 years of experience in CT imaging
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
