Job Summary:The ideal candidate will be proficient in performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures, ensuring patient safety, and producing high-quality diagnostic images.
Responsibilities:- Perform MRI scans according to physician orders and department protocols.
- Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring their comfort and optimal imaging results.
- Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and optimal patient care.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including MRI safety, radiation safety, and infection control measures.
- Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment as needed.
- Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in MRI required.
- Valid state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in Florida.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist preferred.
- Strong knowledge of MRI procedures and imaging techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
