Responsibilities:
  • Perform MRI scans according to physician orders and department protocols.
  • Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring their comfort and optimal imaging results.
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Monitor patients during procedures to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and optimal patient care.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, including MRI safety, radiation safety, and infection control measures.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in MRI required.
  • Valid state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in Florida.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of MRI procedures and imaging techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
