Job Overview

Gpac is partnering with a leading meat processing facility in Western Ohio to find a skilled Food Procurement Sourcing Specialist. With a rich history spanning almost 75 years, this company has established itself as a reputable employer with a strong focus on employee growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure a consistent supply of products and meet business requirements
* Maintain accurate inventory records and manage procurement costs to optimize delivery timing
* Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and dispatch teams to manage inventory chain of custody
* Build and maintain relationships with internal and external sources to drive business success
* Analyze data to inform purchasing decisions and provide exceptional service

Requirements

* High School Diploma, Associate Degree preferred
* 5 years' experience in food sourcing, protein buying preferred
* Strong attention to detail, knowledge of software applications, and intermediate math skills
