Job Summary

The Medical Assistant is a vital member of our healthcare team, providing exceptional patient care and support to our licensed medical providers in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist licensed medical providers with patient exams, procedures, and treatments
  • Obtain and record patient medical history, vital signs, and other relevant information
  • Prepare and administer medications, collect laboratory specimens, and perform other clinical tasks as needed
  • Provide patient education and support, including explaining treatment procedures and medications
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA guidelines
  • Assist with scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • 1+ year of experience in a medical setting, preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and medications
  • Detail-oriented, professional attitude, and reliable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, providers, and other healthcare team members
  • Ability to follow or provide verbal and written instructions, with sufficient grammar and spelling skills to avoid mistakes or misinterpretations
