Job Description

BRITE Energy Innovators is seeking a highly skilled Government Funding Assistance Program Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for identifying government funding opportunities that align with the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and analyze government funding programs, contracts, grants, loans, tax credits, energy use mandates, and incentives at the federal, state, and local levels.
  • Communicate opportunities in a concise and informative way through newsletters and other tools.
  • Modify, maintain, deploy, and improve upon BRITE's opportunity assessment.
  • Lead business planning with the leadership team and implement the assessment with clients.
  • Continue to evaluate and prioritize funding opportunities based on the needs and strategic goals of clients.
  • Provide guidance on suitable opportunities and facilitate connections with advisors.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, Finance, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Three (3) plus years of experience in government grant management, public funding, or a related role.
  • Three (3) plus years of experience in program management, including cross-functional collaboration and strategic planning.
  • Strong understanding of government funding processes and compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience working with federal and state agencies.
Skills and Experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite and experience with data management tools (e.g., CRM systems).
  • Proficient at utilizing research methods and tools for identifying, summarizing, prioritizing, and communicating opportunities in a timely manner.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with clean energy and emerging technology funding opportunities and related regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience in client relations.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary: $70,000 – 95,000 (based on years of experience and qualifications).
  • To allow BRITE to set salaries based on market data and internal equity, and to ensure fair and equal pay for every role, we offer our best offer first.
  • All employees are expected to work a set number of weekends and evening hours per year due to organizational-wide events.
