The Maintenance Supervisor is a key member of the property operations team at Horizon Realty Advisors LLC, responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day maintenance of our apartment communities. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Customer Service: Maintain positive resident relations through superior service, responding promptly to service requests and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Property Operations: Participate in the daily operations of the property, including supervising the maintenance team, inspecting the grounds and buildings, and identifying and correcting hazardous property conditions.
- Team Management: Supervise and train the maintenance team, including interviewing, hiring, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Preventative Maintenance: Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program to extend the life of the community and minimize future repairs.
- Project Management: Design, implement, and execute in-house and/or capital projects as assigned by the Property Manager or Corporate team.
- Administrative Tasks: Assist with department budget estimates and costs of specific repair projects, maintain accurate records and reports, and perform other administrative tasks as needed.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field, with a strong background in customer service and team management.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in basic computer software and hardware.
- Certifications: OSHA certification and any other relevant certifications or licenses.
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $30-$35 per hour, plus bonuses (paid quarterly), and a rental housing discount of 20% available if living on site. We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from diverse candidates.
