Operational Purchaser

We are seeking a skilled Operational Purchaser to join our team at Nexus Innovations in the area of BU Supply Chain / Purchasing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procure purchased parts and components in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Independently execute disposition tasks, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
  • Examine and coordinate needs with stakeholders to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
  • Monitor delivery dates and deadlines to maintain material availability.
  • Ensure material availability through effective inventory management.
  • Obtain quotes and maintain material master data to optimize procurement processes.
  • Handle complaints and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Support strategic purchasing in the further development of material and supplier management.

Requirements:

  • Completed commercial training and several years of experience in operational purchasing in a manufacturing company.
  • Good technical understanding and negotiation skills in dealing with suppliers.
  • Independent, responsible, and structured work approach.
  • Detailed knowledge of the procurement process and proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • SAP experience in the MM module is an advantage.
  • High willingness to learn, team spirit, and assertiveness.
