Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute shipping and receiving tasks with precision and urgency.
  • Coordinate shipments with various carriers while optimizing costs.
  • Exhibit meticulous attention to detail in all operations.
  • Process incoming deliveries and conduct thorough three-way matches.
  • Manage the Grief shelf and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Distribute packages internally as necessary.
  • Prepare shipping reports to track goods dispatched.
  • Repair wooden crates and construct cardboard packaging.
  • Operate and maintain the foam packaging system.
  • Monitor and verify proof of delivery for all shipments.
  • Investigate discrepancies and shortages in the receiving area as needed.
  • Understand and apply 6S principles effectively.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED; one or more years of inventory experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to manage interruptions and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Capability to fulfill all physical and written responsibilities related to Parts Receiving.
  • Knowledge of FAA regulations and procedures for receiving.
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Proficiency with standard office equipment including copiers, printers, and computers.
  • Experience with ERP systems (Quantum) and related software.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Familiarity with packaging, shrink wrapping, and shipping processes using various carriers.
  • Valid Forklift License is required.
  • Availability for a full-time schedule exceeding 40 hours per week.
