About the Opportunity: Are you a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) looking for a new challenge? Look no further MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced OR nurse for a travel assignment in a leading healthcare facility.

Job Description

As an OR nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality surgical patient care, assessing patient needs, developing individualized plans of care, and implementing evidence-based practice. You must have a strong foundation in perioperative nursing, including knowledge of surgical procedures, patient safety protocols, and infection control measures.

The ideal candidate should possess at least 18 months of recent experience in Acute Care Surgery settings and hold active RN licensure. You must also possess BLS & ACLS certifications and a degree from an accredited nursing program. Additionally, you should be able to work 10 hours a day, 36 hours a week, with evening shifts.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive surgical patient care, including preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless transitions of care.
