About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a RN Weekend Care Manager. This is a part-time position with weekend charge nurse responsibilities, where you will play a key role in planning, organizing, and directing the overall operation of the nursing department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of supervisor experience in a healthcare setting and possess an RN license in good standing. You will also have experience with Electronic Medical Records and computer documentation systems. Your salary will be around $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience. Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Developing and implementing care plans for each resident.
  • Ensuring medical and nursing treatments align with care plans and residents' wishes.
  • Scheduling and revising MDS (implementation of RAPs and Triggers).
  • Certifying nursing personnel's performance.
  • Reviewing nurse notes to ensure they are informative and descriptive of care provided.
  • Leading and supporting care staff to achieve high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborating with regulatory agencies during facility surveys.
  • Providing ongoing education and training to nursing staff.
  • Maintaining current knowledge of nursing practices and regulations.
  • Reporting to the Director of Nursing and filling in as needed.
What We Are Looking For:
  • An RN license in good standing.
  • A minimum of one year of supervisor experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records and computer documentation systems.
