Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Perioperative Nurse to join our Surgery Admit Discharge Unit at St. Joseph Medical Center.

Salary & Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.

Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced surgical environment, providing pre-, intra-, and post-operative nursing care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures. As a Senior Perioperative Nurse, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and assessing patient plans of care in collaboration with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and patients and families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
  • Develop, implement, and assess patient plans of care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Required Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of two years of experience in the clinical specialty within the last three years.
  • Previous charge nurse experience is preferred.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse issued by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare BLS Certification.
  • ACLS certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Specialty certification is preferred.
