Position Overview

The Accounting Support Coordinator is integral to our Finance department, delivering crucial assistance in the financial operations of our organization. This role entails the responsibility of updating and maintaining the company's financial records and accounts. Additionally, this position will support the Treasury, Expense Reimbursement, and Accounts Payable functions.

Job Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Maintaining the General Ledger accurately by reviewing and posting daily financial transaction data.
  • Providing support during month-end close processes, including posting journal entries.
  • Assisting with Accounts Payable and managing the employee expense reimbursement process.
  • Performing various tasks such as check deposits, monitoring company card usage, and processing patient refunds.
  • Collaborating with the team on ad-hoc projects as required.
Qualifications

Education/Certification/Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience.
  • An Associate's degree or Bookkeeper Certification is preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Comprehensive understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable/receivable principles.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Capability to manage deadlines while adapting to changing priorities.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

This position is part-time, requiring 20 hours per week during regular business hours, with a hybrid work model.
